“You’ve established a well-planned website, complete with strategic keywords and high-quality content. What’s next? Will the search engines, like Google, automatically ‘crawl’ your website and rank it high, or will you need to utilize search engine optimization in order for it to get ranked?

Of course you need to do SEO. Having a site that is SEO ready with relevant keywords and high quality content are not enough for you to get high ranking in search engines. If you don’t see your website on the first page of google, then for sure, your site isn’t getting enough exposure.

You have to establish links before you can get high ranking. These links are like referrals from other sites. Search engines don’t take what you say about your website, they trust what other websites say about you. So if you want to get high rankings, you have to build more links for your site.

For DIY SEO, you have to establish your:

Longer-tail Keyword or Phrases

You can use the keyword tool of Google. Don’t use those keywords that have the highest number of searches in a month because those don’t have high conversion rates. Choose those that are more specific because they have higher conversion rates. This is because when consumers specifically search for something, chances are, they are they will buy from you. Now, make sure that your keyword phrases are turned into clickable text of your links.

Link-Building Method(s)

Now, it’s time for you to create your method of link building. You can be creative here. But you have to make sure that you only include a few link choices through forum postings, blog commenting and article marketing. Make sure that these are do-follow links. You will be wasting your time if you are using no follow links. These links when clicked will redirect your customers back to your website. Initially, you only need to use a method that is effective for you and try to do 50-100 links monthly. If you do this correctly, you are guaranteed to get great results.

Understand that good results don’t happen overnight. When you do SEO techniques, you are establishing sustainability of your business and this requires patience and dedication because this is long term. Your website will eventually get good rankings in time and prospects will find your website valuable.”

SEO is not something you learn overnight, so when you want it to work on your website, get the best SEO company to do the job for you. When you search for these experts, you will surely find each SEO company claiming to be the best in their league. Your job is to investigate about which one is actually true to its claim.
