SEO Website Buying
Many people like to buy links from highly established web sites in order to get better search engine rankings and additional traffic. What most people don’t ever think about though is actually buying an established web site to put links on. You’ll find that web masters do buy new web sites to build content and drive traffic to eCommerce stores, but this requires an entirely new website to be created as well as new links to be built. This article will go over the ways to go about buying an old site to improve page ranking for your site.
Firstly you need to find places to buy already established websites. You can approach sites in your niche and ask them to sell, but be prepared to pay a premium. Most site owners that do not have their sites listed are probably not very interested in selling. Another method is to find an auction site where you can buy and sell web sites. Sites like Flippa, Warrior Forums, and a few others are good for finding sites for sale.
Buying criteria will need to be established so you can quickly look through potential web sites to purchase. This can be as personal as your budget and your niche or very broad. Some basic things that you want to look at are page rank, domain age, Google cache date, and site theme. You want a site that has a high page rank, an old domain, a new cache date, and a site theme that is close to your niche.
This information can all be found through using the seo quake tool bar for fire fox. If you don’t have fire fox, go to mozilla and down load it. Once you’ve downloaded fire fox you can search through their add ons for the seo quake add on. This will show you the cache date, domain age, and page rank all on the same tool bar. There isn’t any add on to tell you what the theme of a site is, but if you can’t figure that out than you probably shouldn’t buy it.
Once you’ve chosen a site to bid on, make sure you have some good seo strategies ready for implementing on the site. After you’ve purchased the site you’ll need to continue building links to it to keep its rankings high or it will eventually go down in the search engines. Outsourcing your new search engine optimization work is the best way to quickly capitalize on your new sites rankings.
Another option you may decide to go with is creating a web site by yourself with blogger or WordPress. One tactic is to buy an old domain name to use so that you will get some value from an old domain name without having to buy an old site. Look for a domain that already has some good links built to it. This strategy can be useful to those that don’t have the money to buy an entire web site.
