The end result is to create desire to have a product by somehow identifying with the main character in the story. The product is almost always presented in a way that offers it as a solution to something. You need to avoid confusing your potential clients when you are creating your sales copy. Your sales page should address a single prospect. You use the word “You” and not “they”.
Everything is about the person who is reading your sales page at that particular moment. You will therefore be able to connect and create a relationship with your reader. This will help them feel a strong bond with you which will lead them to imagine how the product could help them solve their issues. It is nothing more than fundamental human psychology. Prospects will buy from you only once they feel a connection with you. That’s the emotion which you need to invoke to keep the reader interested and ultimately lead them to the buy button.
The AIDA formula needs to be remembered when you are crafting your sales page. The essence is to captivate your reader’s attention, capture their interest, provoke their desire and then push them into action, so to take them through a series of emotions. How long your copy gets is not important. You need to make sure that your message reaches your reader, which is the important factor. You also need to make sure you are answering all their questions, so that there are no obstacles in them taking action.
There are lots of ways you can develop your copywriting but if you want to master this skill you need to continue learning and practicing. There are lots of copywriters who had no marketing training and improved to the point where they could write sales copy for clients as well as themselves. Therefore, you should continue to improve your skills and maintain focus if you want to make your mark. Crafting effective sales copy is equivalent to making cash on demand.
